Eduardo Gonzalez Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Eduardo started his music career at a very early age. He learned to play Tiple (Colombian 12 string instrument) at the age of 4 and a few years later he fell in love with keyboards and began taking private lessons.
After studying Civil Engineering for 3 years he realized that his real passion in life was music and soon after joined the Music program at the Javeriana University in Bogota.
In 1988 he joined the pop/rock band Oxygeno and in 1990 the band caught the attention of legendary producer Andrew Loog Oldham, who produced The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart and Jimmy Cliff to name a few. Oxygeno released the record with Sony Music and performed all over colombia until 1997 when the band dissolved. Since 1994 Eduardo started to compose music for tv commercials where he found success very quickly and decided to open his own recording studio. Eduardo is also a Recording Engineer/Producer. He went to the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, OH, for the Recording Engineering and Music Production Program in 1993. He was hired by Sony Music to record and produce a pop group named Contagio. Eduardo moved to Canada in 1999 where he continued composing music for Short films and Documentaries, In 2001, He also attended and completed the Post Production program at Humber College. Currently, Eduardo is also a member of the cover band “Yellow Brand Band”.
